Email support@kapkrawler.com and tell us what happened, which iPhone you have, and roughly what time it was. A screenshot helps a lot.

Quick fixes

I can’t see anyone nearby

• Check that Bluetooth is on (Settings → Bluetooth), and that Kap Krawler is allowed to use it (Settings → Kap Krawler → Bluetooth).
• Keep the app open with the screen on. iPhones limit Bluetooth for apps in the background.
• Move a little closer. Bluetooth works best within one room.
• Make sure you’re both in the same game (the same Hang Out).

A name shows as “Connecting…”

The phones have found each other but haven’t finished swapping cards yet. Give it a few seconds with both apps open.

Engage won’t start, or the other person’s phone says no

• Every Engage costs 1 energy. At 0 energy, wait a bit: you get 1 back every 10 minutes.
• If their phone has newer info than yours, it may turn down the Engage to keep things fair. Wait a moment for the phones to sync, then try again.

My phone died

Your game is saved on the phone. Open Kap Krawler again the same night and it will offer to resume tonight’s Hang Out.

The camera won’t scan the join code

Allow camera access in Settings → Kap Krawler → Camera, and hold the code steady in good light.
